The APWT Stationery Blog's 'How To' series - Learn how to make our APWT Printable Gift Tags

This is the launch of the APWT Stationery Blog's 'How to' series! Every week we will highlight a new product, and show you how to use it. This week we are featuring our APWT Printable Gift Tags.

Step 1: Purchase and Download

Purchase item from our shop, when your payment is processed Etsy will send you an e-mail with a link to your gift tag file to to download. If you have an Etsy account, you can also find the download in your order history after your payment is processed. 

Download file to your computer.  The file will be a PNG high resolution image file.

Step 2: Open and Print

Your gift tag file will contain (4) gift tags measuring 2.5" x 7.05" inches each. Each gift tag folds down to a 2.5" x 3.5" inch gift tag.

Use a color printer to print out your gift tags. All (4) gift tags will fit on a 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper (or card stock, or the medium of your choice). If you can't print out the file yourself, upload the file to an online printing platform or take to a local print shop.

Step 3: Cut

You can cut your gift tags with a scissor, or if you have a paper cutter you can use that as well.

Step 4: Add Your Message

The gift tags will be blank on the inside, so you can add whatever you want. Add a personal handwritten message, or add a personal or business ink stamp or other personal touches.

Step 5: Use

Fold, use a hole punch to punch a hole in the designated spot, choose your tie (ribbon, twine, string, have fun with it), and attach. You can add your gift tags to gift bags, packages, and even wine bottles.
